Dog Park in Toronto: High Park - this is Toronto's biggest park, but you may have to go for a long stroll to get to the off-leash area, known as Dog Hill, but there are many sites to see along the way, including the free High Park Zoo, Grenadier Cafe, and a few historical landmarks and areas. This park is recognized as one of the most significant natural sites within the City of Toronto. There are also adjacent hiking trails, but beware, the paths are not off-leash friendly and you could be fined! Open 24 hours |

Dog Park in Toronto: Trinity Bellwoods - this dog park is located in the West Queen West Park, and it is a busy urban park with lots of sports activity, picnickers, and sunbathers. The dog park is located in a secluded ravine in the center, known as the Dog Bowl, which was featured in the 1998 movie, Dog Park. |

Note that although the park is open 24 hours, it is quite secluded, so you may not want to go after dark. Dog Park in Toronto: Allan Gardens - this dog park is located in the Garden District and is better known for its conservatory and greenhouses. It is a popular park between Jarvis and Sherbourne with an off-leash area surrounded by a Victorian-style fence. Allan Gardens is a park and an indoor botanical garden with 6 greenhouses and an indoor conservatory with colorful plants and flowers from around the world. To locate the dog park, just look for the two large canine sculptures around the area, one green and one blue. |

Dog Park in Toronto: Cherry Beach - this is a dog park located in the Port Lands neighborhood on the Outer Harbor, at the Southwest end of Cherry Beach. Dogs can splash around here at the edge of the lake, kite boarders is popular on the west side of the beach, and it is also close to the downtown core. The park has benches, fencing, washrooms, waste bags and disposal facilities, and parking. Parking is located on the Martin Goodman Trail. Open 24 hours |

It is a picturesque, wodded park with two wading pools, great walking trails, public bathrooms, picnic tables, a large playground, and free parking. |
